Do I need a dedicated circuit for an EV charger – Advice from Electriman, North London Electricians

A dedicated circuit is a cable that runs **directly from your consumer unit (fuse box) to the EV charger** and nothing else. No sockets, no lights, no other appliances share it. This is different from a standard ring main where multiple sockets share the same circuit.

- **Check your consumer unit** — there needs to be a
